Go Backend Engineer (m/f/d)

About the Role

As a Go Backend Engineer at Hasomed Tech, you will tackle the unique challenges of integrating modern software solutions with established legacy systems used by thousands of healthcare professionals. Your role will involve:

• Developing and maintaining a local Windows application that communicates with on-premise software operated by our parent company.
• Creating robust, maintainable backend services that interact seamlessly with our local application.
• Collaborating closely with backend and product teams to understand and innovate on the complexities of local software instances.

What We Expect

• Proficient in Go, with a solid understanding of its ecosystem and best practices.
• Experience with Windows application development and familiarity with legacy database systems such as Firebird.
• Skilled in setting up and managing databases both locally and in cloud environments.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Strong communication skills, capable of working closely with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to translate complex requirements into functional software.
